The eyelet openings and the raised petals are worked in the same embroidery sequence, so the punched holes and the sculpted flowers sit on one continuous surface instead of being assembled afterwards. Every opening is bound with dense satin stitching, keeping the circles clean and even across the panel. The hand feel stays soft and smooth: the 3D petals are raised but pliable, and the cotton ground is light enough to drape rather than stand away from the body.

Motif and placement. The repeat is built around a large round floral, ringed by a full circle of eyelet petals, with smaller embroidered blossoms filling the spaces between floral.
