3D Eyelet Embroidery Fabric with 3D Butterfly Motif and Heart Fringe Edge for Spring Summer Dresses and Tops

The embroidery is built in layers. Each butterfly wing is filled with parallel stitches laid tight and even, so the whole wing reads as one clean plane and catches the light without a broken line. The body is then worked in feather yarn: the pile stands upright instead of lying flat, so it stays fuzzy and soft to the hand and gives the motif real shadow and depth. The eyelet holes are punched through the ground and finished with dense stitching all around, leaving a clean, rounded rim that holds its shape.

The repeat is spaced rather than packed. Butterflies appear at different scales, with eyelet flowers and large eyelet panels between them and fern-like embroidered sprigs filling the ground. That spacing works two ways: keep the panel whole where the repeat should stay visible, or cut around single butterflies for placement work on a plain ground.

Both selvedges carry a heart-shaped fringe — small embroidered hearts suspended on fine thread drops along a scalloped edge. Because the fringe is embroidered into the fabric itself, the panel can be cut straight along the selvedge and used as a finished hem, sleeve or neckline edge, with no separate fringe to apply and no overlocking step.

The ground is sheer and carries a light stretch from the spandex, so the fabric sits close to the body without pulling. Developed for spring and summer womenswear, it is meant to be used where the 3D butterflies and the heart fringe are seen rather than hidden under lining.
